Mulcahy's, is owned by the Higgins family who purchased the premises from Ned Mulcahy on his retirement in 1976. It has expanded and developed into a business which is now almost an institution rather than just a pub. The premises has been honoured with seven Bord Failte food awards, and has been recognised as one of the "James Joyce" authentic Irish pubs in Ireland.
Cluain Meala is the Gaelic name for our historic town in Co Tipperary, which is nestling amid some of Ireland's most beautiful countryside.
